Goodnight Ocean

When coming up with the concept for this project, I was inspired by the idea of creating a children’s book that my young nephew could read one day. My brother and I share a love for marine life, and I wanted to make a book inspired by my favorite children’s book, Goodnight Moon. I thought, why not blend them? That was when I came up with Goodnight Ocean. While there are several books titled Goodnight Ocean, I was unaware of them during the creation of my own.

This was fully written and illustrated by me. The illustrations were created using Procreate on the iPad. These were drawn in my personal style to make a cute, approachable take on marine life.
